Seize the Day

Have you ever heard the expression or used the expression SEIZE THE DAY?

Do you know what it means?

It means to: make the most of the present moment! 

 Isnt that a beautiful challenge for us as we set off to experience Joy in the journey? When we choose Joy it's not because life is perfect and everything is going your way!  Having joy isnt obtained because you have everything you want! 

 Nope, it's a choice. When you choose to seize the day, you decide to make the most of what you have in spite of the situation,  circumstances, trials, chaos, storms, fear, stress, heartbreaks, disappointments, or failures. It's a choice only you can decide to make. 
We each have the same choice to make. If you want a victorious life with joy in the journey than you must decide to seize the day and make the most of it. Dont fool yourself into thinking that the only way to maintain a joyful life is by having a perfect life free of disappointments. A joyful life is obtained by choosing Joy in the midst of those disappointments. 

Today will you seize the day and make the most of it? 

Will you purpose to enjoy today? 

Remember- This is the day that the Lord hath made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!

Today's Friday Feature and first guest writer is all the way from Kansas City. And let me just say she might be living in Kansas City but her southern roots go deep. I first met this Southern Sister, Chrystan Ferrell, when we lived in Kansas City last year. I was invited to a Bible study she was hosting at her beautiful farmhouse. I was immediately drawn to her deep love for God, her zeal for life, and her desire to serve her family and others.
